.Foreign Policy and United Nations Summer School
From 1 to 12 July 2024 students and young professionals of all fields have the opportunity to explore Vienna as a Centre of International Diplomacy and one of the four UN Headquarters!
The Foreign Policy and United Nations Summer School consists of seminars on topics such as diplomacy, foreign policy and international law as well as lectures by international experts and speakers of Vienna-based UN Organisations. Furthermore participants receive a first-hand look behind the scenes of the UN at the Vienna International Centre (VIC) and meet with (former) representatives of the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs of Austria (MFA Austria/BMEIA). Besides the course programme, cultural and social activities are on the daily agenda and participants get to enjoy two fascinating summer weeks in the beautiful city of Vienna.
PROGRAMME AND KEY FACTS
- Gain first-hand knowledge from Vienna-based UN Organisations such as IAEA, UNIDO, UNODC, UNOOSA, etc. and from experts in international diplomacy
- Visit the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs of Austria and the Vienna International Centre (VIC) as one of the four Headquarters of the UN
- Expand your knowledge on the United Nations and International Affairs
- Seminars and lectures take place at the Clubrooms of UNA-Austria: Imperial Palace (Hofburg/Stallburg) Vienna, Reitschulgasse 2/2. OG, 1010 Wien
